Heike Munser

Painting, Graphics

for daily use

Heike Munser’s art is about banal, utilitarian things that we use by the day, rarely paying them much attention. But if we only look more closely, we will discover beauty in these everyday items: bottle tops, measuring tape, brushes for hair, nails and clothes, cigarette packets, kitchen gadgets, crockery and office equipment. Things we don’t want to do without. Other motifs are garden seed racks, long-forgotten toys. The works are done on canvas using acrylic paint and mixed technique. During the art fair Heike Munser will offer visitors a glimpse of how she works.
