Photography Compositions

More in One

Frauke Bergemann makes artistic photography from an emphatically subjective perspective. She takes the seemingly objective observational quality of photography and combines it with her own visual experience. The eye effectively glides across what is taking place like a panning camera shot in a movie. Their pictures only pretend to be regular photographs. In fact, they are the result of complex processes in the search for a more comprehensive image. The smooth transition between different perspectives and the consistent sharpness both close-up and from a distance, allow viewers to see things on their own and also see the whole. “More in One” is the working title for these photographic compositions which focus on a three-dimensionality impression.
