Jürgen Oppermann-Vosteen

Ink and water color drawings

Human Being

Jürgen Oppermann-Vosteen’s oeuvre is dominated by drawings in ink and watercolor, which he draws in a reduced, very minimalist way. He creates motifs with graphic forms in association with figurative representations at a standstill and in motion. These motifs are supplemented by nudes, dance studies, portraits and more. Apart from a few color accents, the works are all in black, and brought onto the paper with very few strokes of the brush or pen. This reduction effect enhances the tension and content of the drawings.
