Jürgen Oppermann-Vosteen

Watercolor-ink drawings

Jürgen Oppermann-Vosteen’s oeuvre is dominated by drawings in ink and watercolor, which he draws in a reduced, very minimalist way. His work also includes fashion illustration in the style of the '50s and '60s. Other subjects include acts, dance studies and portraits which the artist puts on paper with minimal strokes of the brush and pen. The pieces are in black with the exception of a few accents of color. This reduction effect enhances the tension and content of the drawings.
